His work is internationally known for merging cutting edge technologies together with ancient traditions resulting in projects on the edge between art and science that answer our society’s most urgent needs. Vittori, since 2002, is directing the research and design studio Architecture and Vision; he is also the CEO of the American NGO Warka Water Inc. Warka Water captures potable water from the air by collecting rain, harvesting fog and dew for rural communities in Ethiopia. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
