The artist was inspired by a recent trip to a remote village in northeastern Ethiopia where water acquisition is often a dangerous and incredibly time-consuming process. "WarkaWater" is a bamboo structure that produces clean water. With just a little financial backing, Vittori hopes the innovative Warka Water Towers, which take the influence of condensation, will provide a more reliable, efficient and sustainable method of water harvesting for local women and their families. The name inspired by endangered 'Warka' trees, giant trees of Ethiopian, that traditionally used is as meeting places.
