1.1 In the name of Allah, the
Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
1.2 [All] praise is [due] to Allah, Lord of the worlds -
1.3 The Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful,
1.4 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense.
1.5 It is You we worship and You we ask for help.
1.6 Guide us to the straight path -
1.7 The path of those upon whom You have bestowed favor, not of those who have evoked [Your] anger or of those who are astray.
What will you get in a
mosque? Or what will you have whenever you enter any masjid in the world?
You will get nothing except
7 sentences above taken from the first surah (Chapter) in Quran : Surah Al
Fatihah. Surah Al Fatihah is the most important Surah in Quran. By just reading Al Fatihah only
once, you are already considered to have read the full entire Quran. Muslim
have to read and understand Al Fatihah at least 17 times a day during their
prayer.
What
makes Al Fatihah very important?
Because in this Surah, is
nothing but asking God to guide you on to Straight Path. Asking God to lead you
in a way which God Al Mighty endorsed as His way. The correct way, or the best
way of life. Thus in this Surah, you are asking God’s help to protect you with
special protection and also to guide you. The rest is up to you to find out.
I went to a Mosque... Look what I saw!
