Escalator jatuh berantakan di Pasaraya Besar

Bayangkan kalau anda dan anak anak anda sedang berada atas eskalator ini... Silap silap haribulan jika eskalator ini masih bergerak mungkin boleh putus kaki anda dibuatnya?? dan jika kaki anda telah putus, pakar ortopedik yg mana pula yang sanggup menyambungkan semula kaki anda itu??

Perlu diingatkan bahawasanya sambungan semula kaki adalah possible dilakukan untuk clean cut! Kalau cut yg sudah jagged atau kotor sudah susah untuk disambung semula tambahan jika sudah melebihi tempoh 6 jam dari waktu mula kaki anda putus....

Kepakaran ortopedik pula bukan sembarangan pakar kerana memerlukan kepakaran mikrosurgery yg jumlahnya tidak ramai di Malaysia.....

KUALA LUMPUR: Several metal plates of an escalator bounced up during a malfunction at a shopping mall in Pandan Indah here. Traders there said two shoppers were using the escalator seconds before the mechanical failure, but no injuries were reported in the 12.30pm incident yesterday. One trader, who declined to be named, said he heard a loud sound coming from one of the two escalators at the centre of the mall.

“I rushed out of my shop to check and saw some of the metal plates out of place. “Luckily it happened before the lunch break when the place would be busy,” he said.

The traders also claimed that it was the second time this has happened, with the first happening about three months ago. Another trader said he was too scared to use the escalator now. “Until the management installs a new one, I would rather take the stairs,” he said. A check by The Star found that both escalators have since been shut down. The mall’s management could not be reached for comment.
