Hasil penelitian yang diterbitkan oleh Consumer Reports menyebutkan bahwa daging babi punya risiko kontaminasi bakteria berbahaya, yaitu Yersinia enterocolitica. Pada manusia, bakteria ini menyebabkan demam dan penyakit saluran pencernaan. Gejalanya yaitu cirit, muntah, dan kram perut.

Selain itu, daging babi juga cukup sulit dicerna. Saat Anda makan daging babi, dibutuhkan waktu sekitar enam jam untuk mencerna setiap potongannya. Karena itu, konsumsi daging babi bisa memperlambat proses pencernaan tubuh.

Risiko kanker dari daging babi kemasan

Menurut Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia atau WHO, daging babi olahan yang dikemas seperti ham, bacon, dan sosis bisa menjadi salah satu pemicu kanker. Periset menemukan bahwa mengonsumsi 50 gram daging olahan babi setiap hari bisa meningkatkan risiko kanker kolorektal, merupakan jenis kanker yang tumbuh pada usus besar (kolon) atau rektum.

Penyakit hati

Selain menyebabkan kanker kolorektal, sebuah studi telah menemukan bukti kuat antara konsumsi daging babi dan penyakit hati. Hal ini disebabkan oleh senyawa N-nitroso, yang banyak ditemukan pada produk daging babi olahan yang dimasak pada suhu tinggi.

Hepatitis E

Produk daging babi, terutama hati babi seringkali membawa virus hepatitis E yang dapat menyebabkan komplikasi parah, hingga berisiko menyebabkan kematian. Anda yang kurang bersih ketika mengolah dan memasak daging babi lebih rentan terinfeksi virus hepatitis E. 

Kecacingan

Makan daging babi mentah atau belum matang yang sudah terkontaminasi larva cacing trichinella bisa menyebabkan cacingan atau penyakit trikinosis. Anda mungkin mengalami sakit perut, diare, kelelahan, mual dan muntah. Bahkan, seminggu setelah makan babi yang terinfeksi, cacing betina dewasa sekarang di dalam tubuh Anda menghasilkan larva yang memasuki aliran darah Anda dan akhirnya masuk ke otot atau jaringan lainnya.

Begitu serangan jaringan ini terjadi, gejala trikinosis meliputi sakit kepala, demam tinggi, kelemahan umum, sakit otot dan nyeri tekan, mata merah muda (konjungtivitis), sensitivitas terhadap cahaya, dan pembengkakan kelopak mata atau wajah.

Tidak patut kita memilih mesin dengan melihat berpandukan semata mata kepada aspek harga yang paling murah tetapi mengabaikan perkara perkara penting yang lain.

Setelah membuat kajian ke banyak laman blog dan juga kedai, pertanyaan kepada ramai orang, jenis mesin rumput yang akhirnya berjaya memaut hati saya adalah mesin rumput jenis  GX35  Honda 4 stroke dan saya berjaya membelinya dengan harga RM1050 sebelum GST.

Kenapa pilih mesin GX35 Honda 4 stroke?

1.  Ia tidak memerlukan minyak 2 T. Justeru lebih bersih dan mesra alam serta tidak mencemarkan alam sekitar. Pengeluaran wasap racun juga kurang berbanding mesin rumput jenis 2 stroke.

2.  Gegaran seluruh badan kurang berbanding mesin rumput 2 stroke. Justeru kurang penat dan kurang sakit sakit badan.

3.  Lebih jimat minyak.

4.  Lasak dan sesuai memotong rumput untuk kawasan yang luas

5.  Lebih senyap berbanding mesin rumput jenis 2 stroke.

6.  Daya kilas lebih kuat berbanding mesin rumput jenis 2 stroke walaupun pada RPM rendah.

Nasihat lain:

1.  Senarai semak sebelum memesin rumput. Sila bawa:

a. Goggle mata atau alat pelindung mata lutsinar dapat menghalang mata dari dimasuki habuk atau bendasing. Saya memakai jenama Axes France Design Faucet. Atau Goggle mata jenama Mr Mark. Boleh dibeli daripada kedai hardware.

b. Alat penapis udara pernafasan hidung / Respirator katerij tunggal / Organic Vapour Respirator Kit  jenama 3M  3200-55  .Boleh dibeli daripada kedai hardware tersohor.

c. Organic Vapour Cartridge with Pre filter 3M = 3311K-55  .Boleh dibeli daripada kedai hardware tersohor.

d.  Sarung tangan kapas tebal untuk mengurangkan gegaran atau kecederaan tangan.

e.  Kasut safety berhujung besi atau kasut Wellington Booth.

f.    Air minum secukupnya.

2.  Saya telah buat beberapa modifikasi sendiri pada mesin ini.

a.Tanggalkan penutup enjin yang berwarna merah supaya enjin lebih cepat sejuk.

b.Tanggalkan ezos dan pasang semula secara terbalik. Ini akan menyebabkan arah pengeluaran asap ke arah menjauhi belakang anda. Aksi ini dapat mengurangkan wasap beracun yang akan anda ternafas sedut. Sila tuan pakai alat Organic Vapour Respirator Kit  jenama 3M  3200-55 untuk mengurangkan asap beracun dari petrol memasuki tubuh anda. Antara asap beracun dari petrol termasuklah Benzene, Toluene, Karbon Monoksida, Sulfur Dioksida, Dioxin dsbnya.

c. Minyak pelincir 4T menggunakan minyak masak kelapa sawit cap buruh. Setakat ini takde masalah dan saya sangat suka sebab lebih mesra alam dan penggunaan bahan alami terbukti tidak mencemarkan alam sekitar.

3.  Berhati hati dengan jenama tiruan. Thailand ada keluar versi tiruan. Bentuk sebiji macam Honda asli kecuali kat beberapa bahagian yg lain. Harga lebih murah tapi tiada nama atau cop Honda langsung. Dikhuatiri kualiti besi adalah tidak bagus.

4.  Periksa takat minyak 4T sebelum memesin rumput... Takut tak cukup 4T dan mesin akan rosak.
